HAH! You thought that you defeated me when doing a month of Miles of Fitness Bootcamp literally kicked my ass! But you were wrong! Sure, Fitness Bootcamp was tough on me…but it wasn’t entirely about the fitness itself, it was about the time commitment I needed to make, not to mention the financial one.
Now I am not saying I have issues with finances, but I am saying that for something that is already a little too tough on me, I needed to be sure that I was ready to continue with it and get my moneys WORTH.
It’s true that the program is well worth its money. BUT just not for me. It’s too much too soon as far as I am concerned. Anyhow…that’s why I started yoga classes closer to the house. But after bootcamp Yoga was way too slow and I didn’t feel the burn I wanted. Nor was I convinced that I’d lose weight in the way I was hoping to. (Quickly).
So I decided to go back to my original weight loss program which believe it or not was doable at home! That’s right! I found that by working out at home I was still able to feel the burn and notice the pounds melt away. (especially around my waist).
So I bought two DVD’s from Amazon.ca the first one arrived yesterday and it was awesome! I did a 20 minute workout with a 10 minute cool down and it kicked my ass just like I was hoping it would.
This was Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred.
Jillian Michaels: Shred-It With WeightsI didn’t even have weights but that was no matter! I feel it today! That’s what counts.
The other DVD was Yoga Conditioning for Weight Loss: Safe, Natural Methods to Help Achieve and Maintain Your Ideal Weight
, now this 45 minute workout was once a valued asset in my life in VHS format. This time, I am getting it on DVD. And if history repeats itself the weight loss will be noticeable and it will happen fast (as it did before).

I have spent all of $20 for the two items and I am incredibly pleased with this investment. I am also confident that I will get much more than that in return!
My goal is to lose not only the last 10 pounds but I will also lose an additional 10 lbs by December 15th, 2010. Now considering I am currently 5.3″ and 140/145 (depending on the time of day) – this is an ideal weight loss goal for me, but it’s not going to be easy.
All I know is that you, my dear muscles are going to feel the pain with me (as I will feel yours!). So you better get used to this idea. Cause it’s going to become a reality VERY SOON!
Get ready for it! PEACE!
